Get ready for the Fourth annual Millburn Schools Rock Concert on Friday, March 9th, 2012 from 7pm to 11pm at Crestmont Country Club. The year's fundraising event features The Eturnity Band- New York's Premier Funk & Soul Dance Band! Led by James Brown's former drummer, Tony Alston View their website to see how incredible they are: http://www.eturnitybandstar.com.
In addition to The Eturnity Band, there will be fabulous food, an Open Bar, Silent Auction, a live auction, our amazing raffle baskets and new this year… a wine pull. Prizes include Sports Memorabilia and tickets, Jewelry, Merchandise from local and national retailers, Disney World Tickets, VIP tickets to certain school events (including graduations) and much, much more.
This year's event will once again feature bidding by
. This fun and interactive "ipod touch based" devices make bidding fun and exciting. The device will even tell you if you get out-bid on your favorite item! New this year will be automated check-out to help avoid long check-out lines.
This is the Education Foundation's big fundraising event each year. The proceeds will go towards upgrading classroom technology and providing equipment, programs and training that cannot be funded within current budget caps.
Tickets are $100 per person for members, $125 for non-members and $150 at the door. We can only guarantee a Bidpal for advance registration, at the door they are subject to availability. Tickets can be purchased by sending in the reply card below with a check made out to: The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills and mailed to 270 Dale Drive, Short Hills, NJ 07078.

Millburn Film Fest
The Red Carpet Premier for the 1st Annual Millburn Film Fest will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Millburn High School Auditorium. The Millburn Film
Fest will feature original films created by Millburn Students attending either Millburn Middle School or High School. A second showing will be on Wednesday, April 18 at the
Millburn Clearview Cinema at 10am.The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills is putting students in the spotlight by showcasing their original short films for the entire community to view. The goal of this event is to provide a community event in which families can attend with all ages/generations and see first-hand the talent that lives in their backyards!
Through generous sponsorships the Millburn Film Fest will feature an annual Playbill that will highlight the students behind the movies as well as feature all the logos that were entered into the logo contest this past year. The proceeds of all Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills fundraisers are to upgrade classroom technology and provide equipment, programs and training that cannot be funded within current budget caps for Millburn Public Schools. Many of the students will use what they have learned in their classes at Millburn and the equipment that has been donated by the Ed Foundation to produce the films they submit to the Millburn Film Fest.
Tickets are $10 adult and $8 student in advance. $15 adult and $10 student at the door. More information will be available shortly regarding purchasing individual tickets.

The Talent Level is $100 and you will receive 2 tickets to the premier, a special Millburn Film Fest t-shirt and Talent Level recognition in the playbill. We encourage all families to purchase a Talent Level Sponsorship prior to the deadline of February 1 to be included in the playbill.
